“I see a more ambitious Australia as being a country that is a world leader in Human and Animal Rights by embracing what humanity is actually all about. I see Australia opening its arms to people from all nations and welcoming them to a respectful, inclusive and dynamic multicultural society. I see the treatment of all animals improve significantly and that we recognise all species as being equal. Our elected leaders would spearhead the way by developing policies that foster kindness whilst a progressive and innovative approach is taken to govern our great nation. All species… animals and humans alike, regardless of skin colour, sex, ethnicity, breed, age and so on….. we all deserve to live in an ambitious Australia free from persecution, pain and suffering and in a country where we are afforded every opportunity to reach our fullest potential.
Living by example in all that I do, is my contribution to an ambitious Australia. I read a quote once that really resonated and is certainly something I try to live by….
“The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion”Paulo Coelho
If every person heeded these words then a more ambitious Australia as described would be possible. To contribute, I challenge those who speak and act in a manner that discourages equality, compassion and understanding. I hope to contribute by encouraging education and knowledge in my local community and social circle. Every act, big or small and regardless of the audience is a ripple that can create waves. To not judge others but rather open my mind to other views in order to establish a dialogue where common ground can be established.”
